Territory Plant Hire's tradition of seeking out the best equipment for our customers lives on with this newest addition.
We managed to get our hands on MAP Group's latest engineering marvel: the Genesis Chassisless Water Cart. Their patented design features the lowest centre-of-gravity module available in the country due to their clever mounting system where the subframe is removed from under the tank.
This results in a unit that offers not only unmatched safety, but payload too!
By removing the subframe the centre of gravity is reduced, which makes it much less likely to roll over and cause injury. It also means the weight is reduced, allowing for more payload - the stuff that really matters!
Absolutely brilliant!
Not only that but the cart features a 30 second handrail. For those who know their water carts this is another great addition, saving time and hassle, by simply unfolding/folding the handrail steps in 30 seconds. No extra bits, no slotting things on and off or nearly falling off getting up or down.
Just fold him up and away you go.
The tank walls are extra durable and stable thanks to the utilisation of pre-tensioned side walls that are steel wrapped around the body, creating an overall more stress resistant body.
And as an extra pre-cautionary measure, Map Group have devised a rather clever way of mounting the unit so that even in the extraordinary event that the mount bolts snap off (probably not going to happen but not totally unheard of). The module would continue to hug the chassis and would not fall off.
That's likely a life or two saved there.
Put this together with Hino's own legendary reliability and safety (because let's not forget that this is mounted on a brand new Hino FM500).
That's a suspension cab with air seat, climate control, adaptive cruise control and distance control, all of the modern safety features and of course Hino efficiency, reliability and power.
All kitted out at mine site spec this beauty has already gone out to the first customer but she may be available again in the future and besides that we have many other great water trucks so don't be afraid to check for availablity.
